The works of art we share on brazosrivercanyonlands.com span over a century of Texas history, including artists such as L.0. Griffith and Josephine Oliver, who traveled the landscapes of West Texas in the early twentieth century under the guidance of the ”dean of Texas artists,“ Frank Reaugh. Works of art from contemporary artists are also represented, with their vibrant palates that exquisitely capture the grand sense of place in West Texas.
